Veterinary Surgeon in Walthamstow

Objectives

• Contribute to a varied and interesting caseload
• Develop advanced clinical and surgical skills, including soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives within the surgery
  

  Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of clinical care to all patients
  • Provide preventative healthcare services and treat sick and injured pets
  • Carry out a range of surgical procedures, with a focus on soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics where appropriate
  • Promote pet well-being and support owners with clear, compassionate advice
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical team members
  • Maintain accurate clinical records
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
  • Participate in the weekend rota (1 in 4 weekends)

  Requirements

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Proven experience in small animal practice
  • Interest and experience in advanced soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics (desirable)
  • Strong commitment to excellent patient care and customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented approach
  • Willingness to take part in the weekend rota (1 in 4)
