Our client is looking for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive team. The practice is proud to provide high-quality, compassionate care to pets in the local community and is looking for someone who shares a passion for clinical excellence and outstanding customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to become a key member of a well-established clinical team, working alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses and a supportive Customer Experience team. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth of the practice, deliver excellent clinical care and play an active role in developing services that support pet wellbeing. There is also an opportunity to develop interests in advanced soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics.
Responsibilities
- Delivering excellent clinical care and outstanding customer service
- Providing preventative healthcare services and promoting pet wellbeing
- Diagnosing and treating sick and injured pets
- Performing consultations, surgical procedures and case work-ups
- Supporting and collaborating with the wider clinical and non-clinical team
- Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients
- Contributing to continuous improvement and clinical standards within the practice
- Participating in the weekend rota, working one in four weekends
Requirements
- A recognised veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS
- A passion for delivering high standards of clinical care
- An interest in advanced soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude
