As a Veterinary Surgeon, the successful candidate will work as part of a caring and experienced hospital team, contributing to a wide and varied medical and surgical caseload. Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality medical and surgical care across a varied and challenging caseload
  • Making confident, evidence-based clinical decisions with a strong focus on animal welfare
  • Discussing realistic treatment options and care plans with clients, taking individual circumstances into account
  • Managing cases pragmatically while maintaining best clinical practice

Requirements

  • Be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon and registered with the RCVS
  • Be confident managing a diverse medical and surgical caseload
  • Demonstrate resilience, adaptability and sound clinical judgement
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients
  • Take a compassionate, welfare-focused and pragmatic approach to care
