NSTR is currently recruiting a US Capital Markets Director for a leading private equity backed global consultancy firm in London which is currently building out their UK operation with a number of hires. You will support companies that either report in the US, have aspirations to be a US listed company or are a foreign company engaged in a merger or acquisition with a US listed entity.

Role Overview:

  • Lead client engagement and own client delivery on operational due diligence for complex transactions (i.e. - IPO’s, acquisitions and divestitures, stock offerings and debt raises)
  • Drive client deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Preparation of financial and other information in SEC registration or proxy statements
  • Implementation of new or amended US GAAP standards, conversion to/from US GAAP or IFRS
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on projects related to new accounting standards
  • Lead process improvement projects and implementation of changes

Profile:

  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting - ACA, ACCA, CPA and/or MBA combined with solid accounting experience will be considered in lieu of a degree in accounting
  • 12+ years of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience
