The Senior ServiceNow Developer is a contract position that is fully remote (you must be UK based) with occasional paid travel to Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). This travel may be frequent on occasions.
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be a hands-on developer for mainly new (but also some existing) ServiceNow projects. Solid IT Asset Management experience is essential, including Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules. Strong previous commercial life cycle experience with both is essential.
Ideally, the candidate will be certified in either ServiceNow Certified System Admin or ServiceNow Application Developer or other implementation certifications. Strong hands-on skills are essential, as is in-depth knowledge of CMDB, ITIL, and Agile methodologies. The role requires good REST API knowledge as well as licence management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with some design knowledge.
Key skills:
- Able to work slightly earlier UK hours to align with the United Arab Emirates timezone (e.g., 6am UK start)
- Able to travel to the United Arab Emirates if required (providing commercial flights are available)
