The role is remote working, based in the UK. As an AI Consulting Engineer (Senior/Lead), you will play a crucial consultative role, supporting key strategic customers in the design and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions.
You will have excellent knowledge of programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, as well as Machine Learning libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, with experience in building LLMs and agentic systems. Demonstrated hands-on experience with generative AI models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, etc., is expected.
Credible experience in a customer-facing, consultative software engineering role is essential, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work cross-functionally with Technical, Sales and Product teams.
Key Skills:- 3+ years experience in software engineering, ideally focused on AI/ML development.
- Excellent programming knowledge in Python and/or JavaScript.
- Experience using ML libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.
- Experience building LLMs and agentic systems (desirable).
- Sound AI software market knowledge.
- Experience in client-side engagement and technical consultancy.
- Solution-led, entrepreneurial attitude.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to create value in complex technical environments.
