As a Controls Engineering Lead, you will provide subject matter expertise across building management systems (BMS), controls architecture, and sequence of operations for global data centre programmes. You will drive design reviews, guide third-party consultants, and ensure alignment with global controls standards and best practices.

Working across international, multidisciplinary teams, you will influence technical decisions, optimise controls integration with M&E systems, and support consistency and performance at scale. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in controls systems, BMS architecture, and mission-critical environments, alongside a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. This role is suited to candidates with proven experience operating as a technical authority, who are comfortable working across regions, stakeholders, and complex project environments.

Key Skills:

  • Deep expertise in controls systems, including BMS architecture, controls logic, and sequence of operations.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration within data centre environments.
  • Ability to lead design reviews and manage third-party consultants across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience influencing technical standards and delivering scalable, standardised design solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams and functions.

This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership as a technical authority driving controls strategy and BMS design excellence across complex, global data centre programmes.

Note: Strong experience in controls systems and BMS within data centres or other mission-critical environments is essential. You must also be comfortable operating as a technical authority across global, multidisciplinary teams and complex design programmes, with up to 20% site travel expected.
