Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Field Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Network Engineer, or Systems Engineer in complex technical or infrastructure environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with IP networking, including routing, switching, and WAN/LAN infrastructure.
  • Experience commissioning, configuring, and testing technical systems in live customer or project environments.
  • Exposure to integrated security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working in critical infrastructure, utilities, defence, transport, or similarly regulated environments.
  • Ability to travel frequently across the UK and occasionally to Europe, and to work in remote and high-security environments.
  • UK-based candidates who hold active SC Clearance or are eligible and willing to undergo the SC Clearance process.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full project lifecycle, from pre-handover configuration and testing through to on-site installation and commissioning.
  • Work on post-handover fault finding and maintenance for live customer environments.
  • Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance to maintain high levels of system availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with design, workshop, and field installation teams to ensure systems are fully tested, validated, and delivered to specification.
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK and occasionally in Europe as required.
