This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a Junior Network Engineer with an established and successful tech company.
The role is full-time onsite in the Middlesbrough area, requiring presence 5 days a week.
The contract is outside IR35.
As a Junior Network Engineer, you will join an existing team working on various networking projects. Previous commercial experience with Cisco equipment is essential, along with a CCNA certification. You should have hands-on experience in networking, troubleshooting, switching, routing, and cabling. Knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, route maps, HSRP, prefix lists, and similar protocols is preferred. Good overall IT knowledge, including Windows 11 and M365, is also required. Experience with switching (STP, VLAN, trunking), VPNs, and firewalls is necessary.
