This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading tech company as a Support Engineer. The role is Hybrid, requiring 3 days a week in various offices around the Manchester (and occasionally Liverpool) area, with the other 2 days working from home. A driving license and car are essential due to the nature of some locations. The Support Engineer role comes with a car allowance, but you will need your own vehicle from the start.
As a Support Engineer, you will be working in Windows and MS365 environments with in-depth knowledge of Windows 11, 10, and 7, as well as Microsoft Office 365 being essential. Experience with Active Directory and familiarity with laptops and mobile devices are also essential, along with some exposure to Azure. Skills in Windows Server and Imaging are required, and issues/tickets you will cover can include printers, networking, tablets, backup, and recovery.
Experience with firewalls, security, migrations, SCCM, or SQL Server are desirable but not essential. You will be responsible for engaging with 3rd party and internal stakeholders, so experience providing support both in person and remotely, along with excellent communication skills, are essential. Solid experience working through a high volume of tickets/support requests is also necessary.
