The role is remote, based in the UK, with some travel to the UAE.
As a Principal AI Engineer, you will own and drive the development of the core AI system, building and scaling real-time, adaptive experiences. You will collaborate closely with product, content, and platform teams to design, implement, and optimise large language model (LLM) architectures, agentic workflows, and AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing scalable, maintainable software
- Integrating AI capabilities across platform systems
- Running rigorous experimentation with custom evaluation metrics
- Ensuring model reliability, safety, and observability
The ideal candidate will have deep experience designing and deploying complex LLM-based systems, strong Python and software engineering skills, familiarity with CI/CD and cloud infrastructure, and a proven ability to translate AI research into production-ready solutions.
