Responsibilities of the role:

• Working in teams on reactive and planned maintenance jobs
• Working safely at height daily
• Cladding, commercial, traditional, and industrial roofing maintenance
• Guttering repairs and replacement
• Flexible working hours, including working away, early starts, late finishes, and some weekends as required
• Availability to be on call on a rota basis
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Pride in workmanship and accountability
• Using portable devices for dynamic risk assessments and reporting on completed works

Required but not essential:

• IPAF (1b, 3a, eb)
• CSCS labourer or skilled worker
• PASMA
• Driving Licence
• First aid certification
• NVQ in slating & tiling or sheeting & cladding
• Experience in reactive building maintenance (leaks, rectification, pitched roofing, guttering, etc.)

The Division

NSS Maintenance is a working-at-height contractor serving facilities management and refurbishment clients across the UK, operating from four depots with a fleet of truck-mounted access equipment. We employ 600 staff directly and provide reactive and planned maintenance and cleaning services.
