Your Role - Main Purpose of the Job
To generate new business revenue and profit within a specified geographical area or sector, aligned with the Group Sales & Marketing Strategy. To develop existing customer accounts through cross-selling and upselling, thereby increasing revenue and profit. To meet all targets in line with the budget and sales activity plans. To promote the NSS brand to customers, competitors, and staff.
Your Responsibilities
- Generate activity daily/weekly/monthly to achieve sales targets, focusing on appointment, quote, and order ratios.
- Deliver the sales plan to acquire new business across your territory.
- Develop strategic account plans to grow existing customer relationships.
- Complete bids and tenders with support from Sales Support.
- Achieve or exceed results in line with budgets and strategies.
- Identify key stakeholders within customer organizations and support operational teams in managing relationships.
- Collaborate with operational colleagues to leverage customer relationships for additional business.
- Prepare and deliver quotations and proposals promptly and accurately.
- Use CRM to report on sales activities, prospects, and pipelines.
- Promote best practices in sales delivery and continuous improvement.
- Support the development of the NSS brand within the industry and marketplace.
- Present management information to major customers and support operational teams in managing expectations.
Requirements
- A Level or equivalent with strong communication skills.
- Experience in sales or account development, preferably within FM or Property Management sectors.
- Industry experience in facility services or related complex service solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving skills at multiple organizational levels.
- Resilience, persistence, and results-driven attitude.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
- Full driving license.
- Strong work ethic.
