Role – Main Purpose
Deliver new business revenue and profit within a specified territory or target sector in line with the Group Sales & Marketing Strategy. Account develop and cross‑sell to existing customers to increase revenue and profit and achieve agreed targets per the Group Budget and Sales Activity plans. Promote the NSS brand to all stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Generate new business through proactive sales activity and relationship building.
- Deliver against agreed sales targets, budgets, and activity plans.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for nominated customers.
- Prepare and submit bids, tenders, quotations, and proposals.
- Manage your pipeline and activities accurately using the CRM system.
- Identify key decision‑makers and navigate complex customer organisations.
- Collaborate with operational teams to maximise account value.
- Represent the NSS brand with professionalism, confidence, and credibility.
- Spot market trends and opportunities to support future growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and/or account development.
- Experience within facilities services, property management, or complex service environments.
- Confidence dealing with large, multi‑site or national customers.
- Strong commercial awareness and results‑focused mindset.
- Skill to work autonomously while collaborating with wider teams.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Resilient, driven, and persistent – follow through on commitments.
- Full UK driving licence.
