We are currently seeking professional Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Boston, Lincolnshire.

The Role:

Our client is a 30-year-old male, based in Boston, Lincolnshire, with lower limb physical limitations, cognitive difficulties associated with autism, and limited English language proficiency. He is a native Bulgarian speaker and requires support to access community and vocational opportunities. The client requires a Rehabilitation Support Worker with the following profile:

  • Fluent in Bulgarian (or Russian, if possible)
  • Experience supporting individuals with cognitive impairment and/or autism
  • Ability to provide community-based support, including attending appointments and supporting engagement with employment agencies
  • Able to support travel and orientation in the community
  • Experience working within a rehabilitation or goal-focused support framework

The initial focus of the role would be to:

  • Support attendance at community-based activities and potential voluntary placements
  • Assist with communication and understanding of instructions
  • Provide prompting, structure, and supervision within tasks
  • Facilitate gradual exposure to work-related environments

Mandatory Requirements:

  • UK Experience: At least 6 months of UK-based support worker experience (within the last 3 years).
  • Licence: A full, clean UK Driving Licence and access to a car for work use.
  • Communication: Clear, fluent English is essential.
  • Status: Applicants must be willing to work on a self-employed basis.
  • CV: Your CV must clearly highlight your relevant experience and qualifications.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in Brain Injury (ABI/TBI), stroke, dementia or aphasia is highly advantageous.
  • Background in Psychology (Graduates are encouraged to apply) or as a Therapy Assistant, Rehabilitation Support Worker, Healthcare Assistants or Care Worker.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative while being a key part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
  • Strong organizational skills and basic IT literacy (Word/Excel).
