Role Overview
As a Roofers Mate you will work alongside experienced roofers on reactive and planned maintenance across commercial, retail and industrial sites. This hands‑on role offers genuine development opportunities for a long‑term career in roofing and working at height, supporting roofing works and helping to deliver safe, high‑quality repairs every day.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team on reactive and planned roofing maintenance
- Assist with cladding, commercial, traditional and industrial roofing works
- Support guttering repairs and replacements
- Work safely at height on a daily basis
- Complete on‑site risk assessments and job reports using mobile devices
- Deliver a professional, customer‑focused service
- Be flexible with start times, travel and occasional weekend work
- Participate in an on‑call rota where required
- Continuously learn new skills and methods on site
Essential Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in your work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work at height and learn a skilled trade

- CSCS (Labourer or Skilled Worker)
- IPAF (1b, 3a, eB)
