Job Overview

We are recruiting Steeplejack Technicians at all levels—from skilled operatives to Site Managers. You’ll carry out maintenance, repairs, inspections, and construction work on tall structures. Senior roles will manage teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to budget.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair chimneys, steeples, and other tall structures
  • Carry out masonry, metalwork, roofing, cleaning, and general maintenance
  • Use ladders, scaffolding, rope access, and safety equipment correctly
  • Complete site assessments, safety checks, documentation, and reports
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Travel and work away when required
  • (Site Manager): Lead teams, write RAMS, manage budgets and timelines

Job Requirements

  • Relevant height-work certifications (Working at Heights, ATLAS, Rope Access)
  • 2–3+ years steeplejack or high-level maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures
  • Physically fit and confident working at height
  • Skilled with hand/power tools and maintenance tasks
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • (Site Manager): Leadership skills, ability to read plans, produce RAMS
