Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Temporary Placement Location: W9, London Start Date: 25th May 2025 End Date: Ongoing (Temporary role) Job Description Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in an OFSTED-regulated setting? We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive educational environment in the W9 area. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) and is committed to upholding Safeguarding standards for vulnerable children and young people. Key Responsibilities * Support students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. * Deliver inclusive and engaging educational support in both one-to-one and small group settings. * Assist classroom teachers with lesson delivery and resource preparation. * Maintain a safe and positive learning environment, adhering to Safeguarding policies. * Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals. Role Details * Type: Temporary * Shift Pattern: Day shifts * Weekly Hours: Approx. 200 hours (across multiple placements) * Regulatory Body: OFSTED * Gender: Open to all applicants Required Skills & Experience * Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN setting * Completed Mandatory Training * Strong understanding of Safeguarding procedures Essential Certifications * Safeguarding of Vulnerable Children * Understanding Learning Disabilities * GCSE English and Maths (Grades A–C) or equivalent * Valid DBS and relevant training certificates (e.g., NVQ Level 3) If you\’re ready to take on a rewarding Teaching Assistant role that makes a difference, apply now to join our team.
