This role will be covering multiple projects and batching plants to support the significant investment & growth across the Nordics , Spain & Portugal .
Key clients range from END Tech user clients to Major Main Contractors operating in this field.
The groups Head office is based in London but they are seeking a driven and motivated character to report into the MD and Safety Director.
This is a senior regional position requiring someone with strong technical HSE leadership experience and a genuine understanding of the concrete, reinforced concrete, precast, piling, concrete batching and construction materials sectors.
The successful candidate will operate confidently at both strategic and operational level, supporting projects, manufacturing operations, batching plants, sites and senior leadership across multiple markets.
- Key Requirements
- Strong senior-level HSE experience within concrete, reinforced concrete, precast, piling, concrete batching plants or construction materials.
* A strong technical understanding of the HSE risks associated with
- Reinforced concrete production and installation
- Precast concrete manufacturing and operations
- Concrete batching plants
- Piling and foundation works
- Concrete pumping, placement and associated site activities
- Heavy plant, machinery and mobile equipment
- Aggregates and construction materials
- Manufacturing, logistics and large-scale project environments
- Proven experience managing HSE across multiple sites, projects, manufacturing facilities or geographical regions.
- Strong experience developing, implementing and maintaining HSE Management Systems across complex operations.
- Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems, including implementation, auditing, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Experience conducting and overseeing internal and external audits, management reviews, corrective and preventive actions, risk assessments and HSE performance reporting.
- Ability to establish consistent HSE standards, processes and procedures across multiple countries and operating environments.
- Experience supporting business growth, new projects and operational mobilization from an HSE perspective.
- Ability to work closely with senior management, project teams, operational leadership, engineers and contractors.
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, incident investigation, risk management and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable operating across international and multicultural environments.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
Right to Work Due to the visa requirements associated with the territories covered by the role, EU passport holders are preferred.
