We are looking for an experienced Package Manager - Blockwork to lead the delivery of a large-scale blockwork package.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a landmark development, taking ownership of the package from planning and coordination through to successful completion, on this major scheme near to Taunton.
Working as part of the project delivery team, you will manage specialist subcontractors, coordinate interfaces with other trades, monitor programme and quality, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
You will work closely with the Project Manager, commercial team, design team and client representatives to drive performance and maintain the highest standards throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full delivery of the blockwork package from pre-construction through to handover.
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials and plant to achieve programme milestones.
- Monitor productivity, quality and progress, resolving technical and programme issues as they arise.
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality standards and health and safety requirements.
- Review and implement method statements, risk assessments and inspection test plans.
- Coordinate interfaces with structural steel, MEP, cladding and finishing trades.
- Manage package reporting, forecasting, change control and subcontractor performance.
- Build strong relationships with the client, design team and wider project stakeholders.
About You
You'll have experience managing masonry or blockwork packages on large construction projects, ideally within industrial, manufacturing, logistics or major commercial developments.
You will be an organised and proactive leader with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on safety, quality and programme delivery.
A background in construction management, civil engineering or a related discipline.
With a proven experience delivering large blockwork or masonry packages.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, quality assurance and programme management.
