The Project - Major UK export finance project worth circa £150 Million. This contract will bring transportation and logistics solutions to all of Jamaica. 55 Number bridges to construct across the Island. These will vary from £3 Million to £55 Million. Scheme will bring with it logistical and planning challenges so the Project Director is after a Strong Site Agent to be based on site. Depending upon the stage of work this will be planning or executing the work. Projects will range from heavy piling, ground stabilization, earth-works pre-cast structures, in-situ, shunted bridges, launched and dropped. Communication skills will be critical working with the local community, workforce and the end client. This project will leave a lasting legacy so great chance to make a real impact and kick start your international career.

As the Site Agents working in Jamaica full time, 6 days a week. The environment will be different but all the key responsibilities from delivering on site will be the same. No cutting corners and ensuring a quality project is delivered safely.

Timescales wise we need to have the right people in post before the 1st of August absolute LATEST.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in roadworks, drainage, or infrastructure projects. Bridges is a bonus as there is a strong focus on this within the project.
  • Solid period of employment for Reputable Tier 1 Civil Main Contractors or Sub-Contractors
