We are working with a recognised leader within the European Data Centre & Technology construction sector. This Main Contractor has secured a fast-track Mission Critical scheme in Düsseldorf, continuing their strategic growth across Germany. Due to increased workload, they are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on site. This is an opportunity to step into a high-profile technical build, working within a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.
Are you currently working on Data Centre or Mission Critical projects in Germany or looking to make the move there? Do you want greater career stability, structured progression, and exposure to major European builds? This role offers both long-term growth and strong financial reward. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and Project Director, taking ownership of key work packages across CSA and MEP elements. This is a fast-paced programme requiring strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with the supply chain.
Your Role:
- Commercial management of designated subcontract packages
- Procurement, negotiation and appointment of subcontractors
- Managing variations, change control and contractual correspondence
- Weekly and monthly cost reporting & forecasting
- Supporting cash flow management and margin protection
- Assisting in final account agreement
- Working closely with site teams to drive commercial performance
Experience Needed:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Main Contractor experience
- Previous exposure to Data Centre or Mission Critical projects preferred
- Experience on projects €50m +
- Strong working knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract forms
- Ability to operate in a fast-track construction environment
- Based in the EU or UK due to visa mobility
