We are looking for an experienced US based, HSE Manager to take full ownership of health, safety and environmental on a large-scale Data Centre project worth circa $200 M + outside of Indianapolis. This is a key leadership role where you will drive strategy, influence culture and ensure best-in-class safety standards across complex, fast-paced DATA CENTRE Projects. The growth and workload across the US for this client is vast, so there is a huge career opportunity on offer for the right person.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the project-wide EHS strategy and management systems.
  • Ensure full compliance with US and International legislation, directives and industry standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction to site-based EHS teams, including Advisors and Officers.
  • Partner with Project Directors and senior stakeholders to embed a strong safety culture.
  • Oversee risk management processes including RAMS review, permits to work and high-risk activity planning.
  • Deliver training, inductions, and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage client and external stakeholder relationships in relation to HSE compliance and audits.

What we need:

  • Extensive experience in an EHS leadership role within construction projects specifically Mega Watt Data Centres. You will have exposure to the full array from CSA, MEP and Commissioning phases.
  • NEBOSH.
  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Prior US experience in this field for a PMC or General Contractor physically building the facility.

Package:

  • Up to $215,000 Per Annum.
  • Car or Car Allowance.
  • Healthy vacation allowance and medical package.
  • Accommodation provided if you are working away from Home Town.
  • Bonus scheme related to personal and business performance.
