This International Joint Venture is looking to hire 3 motivated Quantity Surveyors to work on one of the largest and most complex Civil Engineering & Transportation Projects in Europe starting in 2023.
The project features include:
- Link bridge and tunnel system with 19 road and pedestrian underpasses
- 23 tunnel portals, 22 bridges and viaducts
- New four-lane motorways and 14 km of pedestrian and bicycle paths
- Approximately 24 km of two-lane access roads
With a 6-year program and an international management team, this promises to be one of Norway's most iconic projects.
You will be working within a motivated, friendly, and focused team, gaining experience in diverse civil engineering tasks and challenging projects. The senior management values work-life balance and the culture Norway offers.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to a Contracts Manager
- Involvement in pre-contract activities, subcontract management, subcontract awards, and general surveying
- Procurement, subcontracting, payments, correspondence, and CVRs
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Solid career experience with reputable main civil contractors or subcontractors
- 2-6 years of postgraduate experience
- Strong commercial and technical understanding of groundworks, drainage, utilities, pavements, highways, and transportation projects
- Ability to write contractual letters to supply chain
- Experience handling variations and re-measurements
