- Key Requirements
- Experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager on relevant projects
- 10 years' post-graduate experience.
- At least 80% of career spent with main contractors delivering major building projects.
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
- Researched Bahrain in detail
- Degree qualified - Civil engineering or Construction management (Reputable University)
Experience managing
- Design changes
- Complex construction programs
- Large site teams
- Supply chain and subcontractors
Responsibilities
- Lead the project as the No. 1 on site
- Manage client relationships and key stakeholders
- Mentor and develop the site management team
- Oversee delivery, safety, quality, schedule, and commercial performance
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
This role is best suited to someone who has already delivered a mixed use development in the Middle East.
However if you come from a Tier 1 reputable main contractor seeing the first Expat posting they could be open minded to the right character.
