Do you have clear experience handling Lump Sum Design & Build Projects for reputable Main Contractors? This Main Contractor is looking for an experienced Project Director to join the business with a clear track record handling major Industrial projects. Have you been a No1 on major projects from inception right through to completion? Our client has a strong hold on the UK market; they are a market leader with Industrial, Distribution, Pharmaceutical & Data Centre projects. Have you got a clear track record in handling projects valued at £50 Million and above? They are looking for this Project Director to handle a newly awarded project on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead. The willingness to be accommodating for business needs is key. With the business currently tendering work on the South coast & North East, your following project could even take you over to Europe. Understanding that travel is part and parcel for this Main Contractor is essential.
You will work with the client through design, programme & risk. You must have a collaborative approach to work, a non-aggressive manner as this is a long-term global client. You will be expected to nurture the relationship to ensure that it’s a win-win for all parties.
- Client: Operating in 14 Countries at present, Main Contractor, Largest Project to Date £275 Million, Group led by Profit not turnover.
- Role: Managing site teams, client and parties inside and outside the UK, Prior experience delivering £50 Million + projects, Driving all parties towards handover in a collaborative approach, Strategic thinking capacity that can see risk & issues before they gain traction, History of building high performing teams with great cultures.
