Are you a Senior Projects Manager or Operations Manager looking to take a strategic view across multiple projects and to be involved at work winning and execution stages? This will involve spinning multiple tasks and having the conviction to see things through and over the line whilst managing harmonious relationships.
We are supporting a Leading European Technology Main Contractor that turns over in excess of €1.7 Billion in this sector. They have a fair market share but they know they can take on more profitable work with the right characters driving the business plan. This role is based from Lisbon, Portugal and will involve high levels of travel in the US & Europe as you deal with all manner of tasks before ground is broken on site.
You will be responsible for:
- Resource planning & program delivery
- Identifying risks and resolving issues that arise
- Developing strategies where required to hit strict deadlines on sites
- Mapping growth opportunities to negotiate or tender
- Full life cycle ownership from bid to final account
Key Requirements:
- Track record delivering building projects for recognised Main Contractors
- Strong leadership experience
- Experience managing multiple workforces & project teams
- Ability to make decisive decisions that could affect the programme
- You hold strong EI and have people skills
- Capable to build QUICK; this group delivers circa 20-25% quicker and safer than their competitors, this isn’t for everyone so be honest with yourself
The Opportunity: Client is a highly profitable contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering major projects internationally. Package: Basic salary range: €130,000– €170,000 Gross. Fully expensed accommodation. Flights to home country within Europe every 3–3.5 weeks (workload dependent). Company car or car allowance. Performance bonus: 15–35% of salary. Private medical insurance.
