This Main Contractor has a strong pipeline of large-scale industrial and logistics schemes, including cutting-edge distribution hubs, advanced manufacturing facilities, and high-spec warehousing. The Role
As Health & Safety Manager, you will take ownership of H&S strategy across multiple industrial projects, working closely with project teams from pre-construction through to delivery. You’ll play a key role in driving a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and continuously improving standards across sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of health & safety policies and procedures across projects
- Provide expert guidance to site teams, ensuring best practice is embedded at every stage
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Support pre-construction planning with risk assessments and method statements
- Deliver training, coaching, and toolbox talks to site personnel
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to maintain high safety standards
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and behavioural safety
About You
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within construction (industrial/logistics experience highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and construction regulations
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent); Diploma preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and confident working across multiple sites
- Full UK driving licence
