The Role

As Health & Safety Manager, you will take ownership of H&S strategy across multiple industrial projects, working closely with project teams from pre-construction through to delivery. You’ll play a key role in driving a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and continuously improving standards across sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of health & safety policies and procedures across projects
  • Provide expert guidance to site teams, ensuring best practice is embedded at every stage
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
  • Support pre-construction planning with risk assessments and method statements
  • Deliver training, coaching, and toolbox talks to site personnel
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to maintain high safety standards
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and behavioural safety

About You

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within construction (industrial/logistics experience highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and construction regulations
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent); Diploma preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and confident working across multiple sites
  • Full UK driving licence
