Based outside West London in the Company Head Office, our client is after a MEP Pre-Construction Manager that has full 360 experience to Hyper Scale Data Centres. You will be able to pull apart a program, look at design, speak to the supply chain and present on an MEP package to a client or the board. The focus is for an MEP Pre-Construction Manager (Electrical Bias). You will need to have a strong awareness on electrical packages:

  • Managing design development (from RIBA Stage 2–4 or equivalent)
  • Reviewing and coordinating electrical systems (LV/MV, UPS, generators, BMS integration)
  • Working closely with consultants, clients, and supply chain
  • Look at value engineering and methods of construction
  • Risk identification & commissioning
  • Experience with high-load environments

  • Experience in a Leadership capacity handling MEP Packages on Data Centres in the UK or Europe
  • Strong communication skills - can present to clients and manage the supply chain clearly.
  • Worked in mission critical environments and able to pull a program apart and rebuild it from first principles
  • Happy working in a team alongside Estimators, Planners and Quantity Surveyors
  • Understand that occasional travel is needed to view sites, meet suppliers and present if needed
  • Strong communication skills and a disciplined self-starter
  • Can delve into uptime requirements & backup systems
  • Discuss cooling & power systems understanding what's crucial for these International Technology Clients
