Are you an Earthworks Design Engineer working for a specialist Earthworks & Geotechnical sub-contractor? Want to come join an International Technology Main Contractor building Data Centres, Pharma, Food, Retail & Logistics facilities across the UK & Europe. Head Office located 10 Minutes drive from Junction 16 off the M25 - West London. Group have In-house Design & Build Capability handling projects across 10 different countries at present.
As an Earthworks Design Engineer, are you capable of the following and have experience matching below:
- Can you analyze a Soil Report and advise on technical solutions?
- Is the ground in a condition that will take stabilization?
- Can you produce earthworks models using Civil 3-D software?
- Capable to dive into the detail and give recommendations upon materials, subsurface structures, contamination?

The Role:
Can you produce Earthworks Models, generate contoured surfaces to be imported into 3-D? Do you have knowledge on contaminated surfaces and have the ability to model calculating an optimal cut/fill balance? Does the client worry about the carbon footprint, cost and program? Using models can you estimate the quantity of surface/subsurface hard material that can be crushed to form 6F2/6F5 material that may be required for use as roads/pavement such as capping, piling platforms & so on?
Your career will have a clear history in this area working for consultants, earthworks sub-contractors or main contractors.
CV Requirements & Software experience:
- 3D Civil Software Experience
- Auto-CAD
- Earthworks models/modelling
- Able to produce calculations and quantities for specific materials needed on site
- Coordinate programs & volumes
- Happy to be based in the Head office (No remote working)
- Can you take a soil report, analyze risk and produce earthworks plans & programs?
- Strong communication skills and able to put across your point in a professional manner.
- Degree Educated & Chartered status
- Solid employment history
- Clear experience of Civil Earthworks & Modelling
- You will produce volume counts and designs with an “eye for detail”.
