We are seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to join the delivery team on a major industrial scheme located near Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity, for a Civils Supervisor/Senior Site Manager to play a key role on a high-profile, multi-million-pound development, working alongside a leading principal contractor on one of the South West's largest industrial schemes.

We're seeking someone who has a strong background in heavy civil engineering or industrial construction projects.

As Civils Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards while maintaining programme milestones.

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Civils Supervisor, General Foreman or Site Supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete and infrastructure works.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
  • CSCS Supervisor or Manager Card.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all civil engineering activities including earthworks, drainage, foundations, concrete works, roads and utilities.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, labour and plant to achieve programme targets.
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
  • Promote and enforce a strong health, safety and environmental culture across site.
  • Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.
  • Monitor progress and provide updates to the Site Manager and Project Manager.
  • Carry out inspections, quality checks and maintain accurate site records.
  • Identify and resolve technical and operational issues to minimise delays.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and CDM regulations.
