As the MEP Design Manager you will be responsible for managing the design, coordination, and delivery of all mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) systems on MAJOR Data Centre Projects worth £40-250 Million.
You will be expected to make an impact whether that's bidding on a major project, sitting on a live project or handling 2 smaller but equally as testing scopes. The energy, attitude and focus from the owners to the Senior Leadership team is simply infectious.

This role ensures that highly resilient, energy-efficient, and compliant systems are delivered in line with program, cost, and operational requirements. You will act as the key interface between consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams, ensuring designs meet mission-critical uptime standards.
Key Responsibilities / Design Leadership
Manage MEP design from concept through to commissioning and handover. xgikmsk
Oversee design of critical systems including:
- LV/MV electrical distribution
- UPS systems and battery storage
- Backup generation (diesel generators)
- Cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, liquid cooling where applicable)
- BMS and controls
- Fire detection and suppression systems
- Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute Tier standards (Tier II–IV) where applicable.
