Join the NSPCC Learning team as our podcast lead, bringing safeguarding and child protection expertise to everyone who works or volunteers with children

We're looking for an experienced digital content and podcast producer to lead on creating, editing and publishing high-quality audiovisual content for NSPCC Learning.

About Us

NSPCC Learning is the leading platform for providing safeguarding and child protection information and guidance to professionals working or volunteering with babies, children and young people in the UK.

We are a dedicated digital team that sits within the NSPCC's Knowledge and Information Services department, the UK's leading source of information on child protection and safeguarding.

Through our successful podcast series, we hear from experts and young people across a range of topics to share practical safeguarding guidance to help us all better protect children.

About You

You will have substantial experience of:

  • creating high-quality, engaging audiovisual content from expert sources on a range of complex subjects following style guidelines and quality standards
  • recording, editing and mixing audio content

Working Experience Of

  • interviewing, active listening, storytelling and sound design
  • using analytics tools to monitor performance and make recommendations
  • accessibility standards, user experience (UX) and AI/search optimisation (SEO).

Ability To

  • use a content management system (CMS), email marketing and social media platforms
  • manage projects with multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities
  • work well as part of a team

Knowledge Of

  • industry trends within the wider digital landscape
  • child protection and safeguarding.

Essential information

This role is full time Monday-Friday 35 hours a week with at least one day a week in our London office in Shoreditch, working from home the remainder of the week.
