Schools Coordinator – North West Wales
- Mustlive within North or West Wales
- One post – 28 hours each (equivalent of 4 days). Permanent (note that the salary shown in pro rata)
- Home based, travel required.
- Welsh language: The ability to conduct a conversation in Welsh is essential for this post. It would be desirable if the successful candidate could also respond to basic correspondence in Welsh.

Local Services brings together our work in schools, local campaigning and our direct services across 9 regions and nations. The Schools Service Cymru/Wales team plays an integral part of our mission as it\’s responsible for delivering the schools offer.
- Do you have experience of delivering programmes in an educational or safeguarding setting?
- Have you recent experience of following safeguarding procedures?
- Do you have well-developed stakeholder relationship management skills?
- Have you enjoyed working with diverse groups of people?
- Do you have relevant volunteer recruitment, management and supervision experience?
- Have you experience of working towards and meeting set targets/KPIs?
- Would you work well as part of a remote team?

Reporting to the Schools Manager, the Schools Coordinator role will:
- be the single point of contact for all primary schools within the designated area, including non-mainstream settings
- co-ordinate the delivery of the Speak out. Stay safe online programme
- be responsible for overseeing the delivery of volunteer led workshops
- leading and manage a diverse team of existing volunteers
- work to set targets and KPIs
- be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external relationships
- recruit, train and retain new or existing volunteers providing ongoing development
- maximise opportunities and partnership working
- be confident in presenting to stakeholders, such as local authorities and senior school leaders
- represent Local Services and NSPCC Schools Service in the public forum
- be an active contributor to internal projects and workstreams
