At the NSPCC, we are committed to preventing child abuse and ensuring every child can grow up safe and supported. As part of our NSPCC Sport team, you will help strengthen safeguarding standards across sport, supporting our strategic ambition to make children safer in and through sport while promoting a culture where children's welfare is everyone's responsibility.

As an Auditor within NSPCC Sport, you will conduct safeguarding audits and assessments across a range of sports organisations and professional clubs, helping to evaluate and improve safeguarding practices. You will provide expert advice, consultancy and support, contribute to quality assurance processes, support key projects, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure organisations meet high safeguarding standards.

We Are Looking For An Experienced Safeguarding Professional With a Strong Background In Conducting Safeguarding Assessments Or Audits Within Sport Or Physical Activity Environments. You Will Have

  • substantial child protection experience and understanding of current safeguarding issues in sport
  • excellent communication and influencing skills,
  • strong analytical and report-writing abilities,
  • the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
This role involves regular, overnight travel across England and Wales to undertake face-to-face assessments.
