NSP ENGINEERING LTD is a company specializing in machinery, dedicated to delivering innovative and high precision engineering & production.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Planner, Purchaser & Stock Controller to manage production scheduling, procurement, and inventory across our manufacturing site. This role is key to ensuring materials are available, work is effectively planned, and stock is well controlled to support smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and capacity
  • Plan and release work to the machine shop to ensure efficient workflow
  • Determine and manage machining batch quantities to maximise machine utilisation and efficiency
  • Monitor production progress and adjust plans as required
  • Provide support across end-to-end procurement processes, including material sourcing, supplier engagement and negotiations, and purchase order oversight
  • Track supplier performance and resolve supply issues
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, reorder points, and inventory records
  • Carry out stock checks and drive improvements in stock control
  • Take responsibility for the organisation and layout of stores to improve efficiency and accessibility

Skills & Experience / Qualifications

  • Proven experience in production planning, purchasing, stock control within manufacturing
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with machine shop operations & manufacturing
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A proactive, hands-on individual who can take ownership of planning, purchasing, stock control, coordination in a manufacturing environment
