A leading telecommunications/data company is expanding due to phenomenal growth and is looking to expand its successful desk team. Part of a large international organization but working on a local level, the company is highly respected in the industry.
Role Overview: You will be responsible for selling leading-edge telecoms and data solutions into existing accounts, managing, growing, and retaining them. This hybrid role involves visiting clients across the UK, so a full UK driving license is required, along with a car allowance of £300-£400.
Candidate Profile: Ideally, you will have good telesales, desk-based, or internal sales experience in telecoms, IT, or technology products and solutions. However, applications are encouraged from proven salespeople confident in their ability to succeed in this role.
Incentives: A guarantee of commission is offered for the first 4 months.
Responsibilities:
- Making outbound calls in a B2B environment to exceed sales targets.
- Completing all sales order paperwork within 24 hours with high accuracy.
- Keeping a full and accurate sales ledger to track sales.
- Developing effective solution-selling techniques to promote multi-product solutions.
- Handling inbound queries and directing them to the relevant team.
- Taking ownership of targets and delivering consistently, reviewed monthly and quarterly.
- Learning about the company's product portfolio through the Learning Academy and Genie Accreditation over 12 months.
Purpose: To sell the company's products and services to the SME market in Coventry, Warwickshire, and Northamptonshire. The goal is to expand the customer base by at least 800 new businesses annually and upsell to existing customers with new products and services. All campaign calls should be logged accurately in the CRM system (Salesforce), with regular reviews during 1-2-1 meetings.
