Are you an experienced Mobiles Sales professional looking to be part of a global organisation but selling at a local level ?
We are recruiting a Business Development Manager to be the Mobiles Specialist for an established telecoms organisation where you will be responsible for achieving new business and sales targets.
Purpose
Sell the Business Products and Services and Future Mobile Proposition to the SME Market in the Coventry, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Area. As a leading telecoms company, we should be maximising the potential in our base to sell mobile and to be recognised as the No 1 mobile supplier in the Business Market.
Key Relationships
Within the SME Market – Engage with KDM (Managing Directors, IT Directors, Sales Directors and Finance Directors) and sell to Top Team Decision Makers in organisations from 5‑man bands to 100+ employees.
With Sales Colleagues – 14 desk‑based sales, 3 field sales, 5 hybrid field sales and 5 customer service colleagues support you to achieve mobile targets.
With the Management Team – 2 Sales Managers, 1 Operations Manager, 3 Team Leaders and a Managing Director; all share common goals of over‑achieving targets and delivering world‑class customer service.
With Internal Support Teams – Manage inbound customer calls confidently, pass them to the relevant team and build relationships with key members who support your development.
Activities
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic. • Make a high number of outbound business development calls to the SME Market. • Landscape all customers and manage a prospect bank for mobiles; knowing your prospects and customers is vital. • Make at least 75 outbound calls in a B2B environment, 3 days per week, to over‑achieve sales targets. • Book 5 meetings per week for new business with the support of a Mobile Specialist. • Take ownership of all targets and deliver consistently. • Work unsupervised as part of a virtual team, maintain confidentiality, comply with regulatory and competition rules, and be able to work at a VDU for long periods.

Experience
