We have an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our busy, friendly, 2 partner, 7 salaried GP practice with approximately 12,300 patients over three sites. Hanley Health Centre, Abbey Surgery and Foden Street Surgery.
Full time post. Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
We are looking for an individual who has a caring nature and a proactive and professional manner to help us with the changes, opportunities, and challenges within primary care.
Duties will include General nursing duties, childhood and adult immunisations, injections, cervical cytology, chronic disease management, wound management, contraceptive advice, assisting with QOF/QIF and audits. (This list is not exhaustive)
The ideal candidate will:
- have a caring nature
- be well organised
- have excellent communication skills
- be a team player
- have up to date vaccs and imms qualification
- have cervical cytology qualification
- have experience with Emis, Docman, Ice (preferable not essential)
