Job overview

Connect Suffolk are looking for an extremely professional, conscientious, calm and confident individual to be a Clinical Team Administrator.

This role will be supporting the Clinical Team. Involves working closely with professionals and the general public. This role will offer a wide a varied number of tasks.

Main duties of the job

  • Previous administration experience is essential.
  • Full training will be given for this role.
  • You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems.
  • You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively.
  • Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining strict confidentiality are also essential.
  • Use of ICT applications/packages.
  • Experience of working in a busy office.
  • Taking and processing referrals via phone and online and extensive knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
  • Dealing efficiently and politely with both internal and external customers in a confidential and confident manner.
  • Professional exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a dedication to confidentiality are essential.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Please note that this role does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a skilled worker visa. The Trust will not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship, so any successfully appointed candidate will need to maintain their own independent right to work for the duration of their role. Qualifications

  • Pitman / RSA III Typing / Word Processing or equivalent secretarial experience at intermediate level
  • NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or working towards.
  • Knowledge of Trust electronic record system

Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages or equivalent
  • Maintaining administrative / secretarial systems
  • Knowledge of NHS policy and procedures

Other

  • Able to work flexibly
