Mental Health Nurse/OT for Adult Eating Disorder Services We are looking for a motivated, empathetic, resilient individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with individuals with eating disorders. The role will cover Suffolk and be based in Bury St Edmunds. Applicants should have experience working within eating disorders and have mental health training. The post holder will assess, clinically manage, coordinate care and treat adults with eating disorders, working alongside other health care professionals including RMN’s, RGN’s, GP’s, dieticians and consultant psychiatrists to support service users in recovery. Key responsibilities include: Provide planned nursing care and risk assessment/screening for patients within their care plans. Provide ongoing evaluation of patients’ needs and identify suitability for potential discharge in conjunction with caseload management and supervision. Initiate and attend patient‑centred reviews, case conferences and other meetings as required and work within the multi‑disciplinary team to form working partnerships. Review a patient’s care within the team setting, prioritise and disseminate information within the team. Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act 1983 and effectively organise working day, making best use of time, distances and resources. Promote best clinical practice, involve patients and carers in development of their care plan and actively participate in training and education. Comply with all Trust policies, guidelines and protocols, particularly those relating to community services. Travel independently to Ipswich and Stowmarket as required; a UK driving licence is mandatory. Benefits included with this role are: NHS pension A comprehensive in‑house
