We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Risk Officer. This pivotal role plays an integral part in ensuring the smooth operation and effective oversight of the organisation's risk framework. The Risk Officer will be responsible for providing critical support to the Head of Risk and the administration of risk committees and groups, ensuring that these meetings function efficiently and in full alignment with the organisation's overarching strategic goals.
In this role, you will take on a variety of tasks that are crucial to maintaining the effectiveness of risk processes, including providing risk management support to our operational teams, analysing data and creating risk register reports. The role also includes coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and assisting with the implementation of governance policies.
Responsibilities:- Contribute to the overall management and co-ordination of Risk, reviewing practices and processes to ensure that all areas are working effectively.
- Develop/maintain expertise in assigned systems, data and reporting processes to enable accurate and timely production of information.
- Provide full administrative support to the Risk and Policy Group and the Audit and Risk Committee, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and action tracking.
- Responsible for production of timely and accurate information analysis and reports to an agreed timetable to the appropriate audience.
