We are looking for a compassionate, motivated Tobacco Dependence Specialist Advisor to join our Physical Health Corporate Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to people’s physical health, wellbeing and recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence‑based tobacco dependence service to inpatient service users and staff across Norfolk & Waveney, using a flexible approach that includes face‑to‑face working, clinics and telephone support.
- Work closely and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide behavioural support, facilitate access to pharmacotherapy and e‑cigarettes, promote adherence to the Trust Smokefree Policy and ensure the wellbeing of patients.
- Contribute to staff training, service development, data collection and quality improvement, supporting continuity of care across inpatient settings.
- Provide a comprehensive tobacco dependence treatment service to patients and service users.
- Provide confidential one‑to‑one advice for staff who smoke.
- Assist with staff training to ensure a consistent approach and adherence with tobacco dependence treatment plans and compliance with the Smokefree policy.
- Work remotely providing telephone/digital support as well as face to face, depending on client’s preferences and national guidance.
