We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Team Administrator to work in our Central Youth Team based at 80 St Stephens in Norwich on a fixed term basis for 6 months. We offer a welcoming, friendly, and supportive environment that puts the needs and care of our service users first and provides a responsive administration service.
This role requires a confident individual with experience in supporting a busy team, a good understanding of confidentiality and data protection. Excellent time management skills, a positive approach, calm under pressure, and the ability to confidently and sensitively handle telephone calls from individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset are essential.
The role will involve a range of administration duties to meet the needs of clinical teams and service users, with a focus on business process, referrals, data entry, and performance compliance. Previous experience of IT systems is desirable.
Responsibilities:- Update the Trust's electronic records system (Lorenzo), inputting information in an accurate and timely manner. This will include the entering and accepting of referrals, updating patient records and transfer of cases to other teams. Experience of Lorenzo would be helpful but full training will be given.
- Managing Assessment and Triage spreadsheets.
- Managing Assessment bookings in a prompt fashion and outcomes following assessment.
- Managing incoming calls.
- Liaising with other teams.
- Supporting Clinicians to maintain electronic patient records.
- Typing of letters.
- Maintaining and monitoring spreadsheets.
- Collating and distribution of reports.
- Undertake other appropriate duties, being adaptable and flexible to service needs across the locality.
- Experience supporting a busy administrative team.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Capability to handle sensitive telephone calls.
- Familiarity with IT systems (desirable).
