Are you a highly motivated, passionate, and skilled Mental Health Nurse? Do you believe in keeping Service Users and Carers at the heart of everything you do? Within this role you will be involved in working alongside the MDT, within the confines of a robust co-produced care plan that meets the individual service users’ needs whilst managing any risk factors for the individual or others. The recovery focused approach allows an opportunity to work collaboratively with carers, relatives, and other third-party agencies. This role will focus on proactively supporting reintegration back into the community, linking with third party services such as housing, drug and alcohol, and attending all necessary reviews and professional meetings as scheduled.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery-focused, co-produced care planning for individual service users.
  • Identify and manage risk factors for service users and others in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Collaborate with carers, relatives, and third-party agencies to support reintegration into the community.
  • Link with third-party services (e.g., housing, substance misuse services) as required.
  • Attend all necessary reviews and professional meetings as scheduled.
  • Support and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities within a secure and forensic inpatient environment.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Must be able to complete mandatory training for working in secure and forensic inpatient environments, including PMA and Immediate Life Support.
  • Shift work is required, including day and night shifts, covering a 24/7 working week.
  • Evidence of current registration and appropriate professional qualifications for Mental Health Nursing.
