Are you an administrator looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Do you have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail? Can you effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities? The Norfolk Community Perinatal Mental Health Service are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to become part of their team. We are looking to recruit a Band 4 Senior Clinical Administrator to join the existing Business Support Team on a full-time, substantive basis.

Our service offers a welcoming and supportive environment and when you join us, you can expect comprehensive training to ensure you understand the different processes and systems we use. You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.

Responsibilities

  • Join the Business Support Team as a Band 4 Senior Clinical Administrator on a full-time, substantive basis.
  • Demonstrate strong time management, prioritisation and administration skills; manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Support a range of processes and systems within the service and contribute to a calm, professional environment.
  • Assist with supervision/management of other staff members (where applicable).
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle information securely; work to deadlines and on own initiative.
  • Be adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment and use a range of clinical systems and Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications

  • Band 4 Senior Clinical Administrator or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Strong administrative experience with confidence in IT; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of Lorenzo or similar Trust systems is advantageous but training is provided.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, use initiative and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience supervising staff is an advantage.
  • Flexible approach to service needs and a creative approach to problem-solving.
