Are you a post-Foundation doctor looking to build a career in psychiatry? Join Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust as a Trust Grade Doctor and gain exceptional experience in our older peoples Inpatient Ward based at Julian Hospital, Norwich, Norfolk.

The Trust is seeking a Trust Grade Psychiatry doctor (Core trainee CT1-CT3) to join the Older Peoples Mental Health Inpatient Services at The Julian Hospital, Bowthorpe Road, Norwich on Sandringham ward. The Julian Hospital is a mental health hospital with 70 beds for older people situated on Bowthorpe Road in Norwich. There are five inpatient wards at the Julian hospital. The functional wards are Sandringham ward (male) and Blickling (female).

This Trust Grade post is aimed at doctors who are equivalent of CT1-3 trainees in terms of experience. The post holder will provide day‑to‑day psychiatric and physical health reviews of the patient group under the care of a consultant psychiatrist. The post holder will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team and be involved in all aspects of the service work including attending relevant meetings. There are also opportunities to observe assessments in other settings. The post provides an excellent opportunity for doctors with an interest in training in Psychiatry.
