We are looking to recruit a Counselling or Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult CMHT based in Kings Lynn covering West Norfolk with the possibility for a small amount of home working.
The psychology and psychological therapies team in the CMHT has an exciting and vibrant skill mix including Clinical Psychology, CBT therapists, CAT therapists, Art therapists, DBT therapists and CAPS. The post holder will be responsible for providing assessment, consultation formulation, individual and group therapy for service users accessing the CMHT. There will also be responsibilities regarding supervision and service evaluation.
Opportunities exist to support further therapy training to fit the needs of the service, including CBT, DBT, CAT, MDT and EMDR. The successful applicant will hold their own caseload of clinical work, covering assessment, consultation formulation, individual and group therapy. They will be supervised by the 8B Clinical Psychologist and will have supervisory responsibilities for others in the team.
Psychology is well valued in the CMHT in West Norfolk, and other duties will involve working closely with the wider professions in the MDT. The applicant will have a job plan in line with BPS guidance, incorporating time for CPD, learning and clinical duties.
