We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and values-driven professionals to join our thriving multidisciplinary team in Ipswich.
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist who: is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families; values multidisciplinary working; brings curiosity, compassion and clinical excellence; wants to contribute to an ambitious and developing service; and shares our commitment to co-production and involving young people in shaping care.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for children, young people and families with complex mental health needs.
- Deliver a range of evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions to service users, families and carers.
- Provide psychological consultation, advice and formulation to multidisciplinary team colleagues to support psychologically informed care.
- Undertake complex risk assessments and advise other professionals on the psychological aspects of risk management.
- Provide supervision and support to trainee, assistant and newly-qualified psychologists, and contribute to developing the wider psychological workforce.
- Contribute to service development, strategic planning and the implementation of psychologically informed practice across services.
- Work collaboratively with health, social care and partner agencies to meet the recovery, safeguarding and wellbeing needs of service users and their families.
