We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Team Leader within our Child and Adolescent Crisis Service (CAIST) in Great Yarmouth. This is an ideal role for someone that wants to combine elements of management and leadership while maintaining some direct clinical work.
About CAIST
The CAIST (Crisis, Assessment & Intensive Support Team) service is a vibrant and dynamic service that has 3 teams based across Norfolk & Waveney, seven days a week. The service is commissioned for 08:00–20:00, seven days per week. The team offers community based intensive support to children, young people & their families. CAIST aims to establish trusting therapeutic relationships, to reduce risks when children & young people may be experiencing high levels of distress.
Role and Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for someone experienced as a manager or someone with the skills and attributes to make the first step into leadership. You will:
- combine elements of management and leadership while maintaining some direct clinical work;
- oversee the offer of crisis assessment and intervention for young people in Great Yarmouth and Waveney;
- work alongside 2 peer Clinical Team Leaders and 2 Clinical Nurse Specialists to deliver services;
- be cross-locality (Central, East and West); although based in Great Yarmouth, travel to other sites may be required;
- be compassionate, approachable and person-centred while supporting day-to-day delivery of the service;
- be organised, quality driven and level-headed when managing operational/clinical issues.
Qualifications and Qualities
Experience as a manager or the potential to step into leadership roles. Ability to influence, inspire and energise others, and to work with people’s strengths to drive service improvement and patient experience.
